‘Twas the night before Christmas and deep down in her den
Red the Fox was sleeping, waiting for when
She would hear the clatter of food on our deck
All rested and ready to run like heck
When the dish finally clattered, she came like A flash
Grabbed the left overs and away she did dash
We know that tomorrow she’ll be back in a hurry
‘Cause away ‘cross the forest she’ll smell fresh turkey
But ’till then she will wait and wonder when she will get
The innards of turkey and the tasty long neck
No Santa, no elves, no hard leather chew
She knows Larry and Jan’s goodwill shall come through
